Quick File Share

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 31 October 2026. Published by RabbitFoot, India.

In short

1. Who we are

Quick File Share (the “App”) is published by RabbitFoot (“we”, “us”), based in India. If you have questions about this policy, email likhil004play@gmail.com.

2. What the App does

The App runs a small file server on your phone. Another device on the same Wi-Fi network, or connected to your phone’s hotspot, can open the address shown in the App in any web browser, enter a 6-digit passcode, and then view or download the files you chose to share. If you turn on “Allow uploads”, that device can also send files to your phone.

3. Information handled on your device

The following stays on your phone and the devices you connect. It is not sent to RabbitFoot.

6. What we don’t do

7. Security

Every sharing session uses a new random 6-digit passcode, and a device is locked out for a minute after 5 wrong attempts. Sharing stops as soon as you tap Stop. Transfers travel over your local network using plain HTTP and are not encrypted, so use the App on your own Wi-Fi or hotspot rather than on public networks, and share the passcode only with people you trust.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Users under 18 should use the App with the permission of a parent or guardian.

9. Your rights

Because RabbitFoot does not collect or store your personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Data on your phone can be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it. For data collected by Google for ads, use the controls described in section 5. If you have a concern, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, contact us at likhil004play@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App changes. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the App.
